After looking at several different brands and models I decided that the Cub Cadet was the machine that most fit my needs and my wallet. Great machine so far. My cutting time is down 40-45 minutes from taking about 2 1/2 hours.

Mainly for service. If I have a problem with my tractor, I can return to Selmac Sales to talk to someone knowledgable as well as general servicing in the future for my tractor.

I would like to share a situation with you with regards to Ron Goerz. I have known Ron for a long while, in fact I have now pruchased 3 tractors from Ron.

On the recent purchase, a 54" Cub Cadet, I went to Ron with a small concern and he stepped right up. At one of our properties, new estate, poor maintenanace on my part, virtually 4 acres of new well fertilized seed, never cut & growing wild, in some areas 5' high. I did not want to take the 1560 & mower based on weight and potential for damaging the investment, asked Ron if he had any demo units for a severe test.

As before, Ron stepped right up. "sure come get one, use it and bring it back". Well, even though, in my humble opinion the 54" Cadet  was not equal to managing this our of control crop as the older 48" John Deere, based on how Ron supported my request and your company, I bought the tractor from Ron.

I am also in sales, have many sales people working with and/or for me and based on years of experience, I feel I can recongnize quality within an invividual, people buy from people not from companies. Ron represents himself, his colleagues and your company extremely well. He is an extremely valuable asset to your organization, he steps up to the task or request anytime, anywhere.

I was in your store for the first time yesterday. I found you on the Internet while trying to find Cockshutt tractor parts. I must say you are difficult to find especially if you are the sole provider of some the scarce parts and supplies for old machinery...

Regardless, the reason for this email is to thank Selmac and especially Matt who went far out of his way to locate what I needed and to solve a fuel supply line problem which I had. No-one else in the Edmonton area would even offer some advice. The time spent for a small order was not insignificant.

I spent a little time with Ron in sales who showed me some of the available equipment and, for once, I felt like the dealership actually wanted me there as a customer. There is no question I will be back and referring people to Selmac.

Whatever you are doing to keep your staff in the right frame of mind, you are doing it right.
